City in Fulton and DeKalb counties

This page is organized by neighborhood: Buckhead, Midtown, the in-town east side from Virginia-Highland and Poncey-Highland to Inman Park, West Midtown, East Atlanta and Kirkwood, Druid Hills and Southwest Atlanta. The city reaches from Fulton County into DeKalb, and we cover both sides. The price list is the same everywhere we work: an $80 diagnostic that is waived when you approve the repair, flat-rate labor from $180 plus parts, and a 60-day warranty. We repair refrigerators, washers, gas and electric dryers, dishwashers, gas, electric and induction ranges and ovens, disposals and built-in microwaves. For an overview of everything we do, see appliance repair in Atlanta. Sandy Springs and Brookhaven have their own pages.

Homes in Atlanta

Half the homes in the city of Atlanta were built before about 1989, according to the Census Bureau. In a city this varied, the age of the house matters on a service call. Older homes may have three-prong dryer and range outlets, and a new appliance needs the cord that matches the outlet; a new or changed outlet is work for a licensed electrician.

Water in Atlanta

Atlanta’s water comes from one local source, the Chattahoochee River. According to the 2025 water quality report, the Chattahoochee and Hemphill treatment plants produce 75% of it and the jointly owned Atlanta-Fulton County plant the rest, about 105 million gallons a day for more than 1.2 million people. The report does not publish a hardness number; the department told WSB-TV in 2022 that its weekly tests show calcium and magnesium levels the EPA considers low. In soft water, most dishwashers can stay on their lowest hardness setting. Water questions go to ATL 311 at 404-546-0311.

Power and outages in Atlanta

If Georgia Power is your utility, report an outage at 1-888-891-0938 or online. Ready.gov advises turning off or disconnecting appliances during an outage, because power can come back with surges; when it returns, reset tripped breakers and GFCI outlets before booking a repair. Our power outage guide walks through it.

FAQ

Appliance repair in Atlanta: common questions

Do you cover my Atlanta neighborhood?

We cover Buckhead, Midtown, Virginia-Highland, Poncey-Highland, Inman Park, West Midtown, East Atlanta, Kirkwood and Southwest Atlanta, on both the Fulton and DeKalb sides of the city. Give us your ZIP code when you book and we confirm the window for your part of town.

Does the price change across Atlanta?

No. Every neighborhood gets the same $80 diagnostic (waived with the repair), the same flat-rate labor from $180 plus parts and the same 60-day warranty.

I live in a Midtown or Buckhead high-rise. Can you come up?

Yes. Tell us the building’s rules when you book: where to park, whether the service elevator needs a reservation, and whether management wants a certificate of insurance before a vendor visit. Our technicians carry their own liability insurance.

Do you repair gas ranges or dryers in Atlanta?

Yes. We repair gas and electric dryers, ranges, ovens and cooktops. Work on the gas supply line or piping itself is referred to a licensed plumber or gas contractor. If you smell gas, leave the house and call 911 or your gas utility from outside.
