Where we repair appliances in metro Atlanta

34 service-area pages across Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Forsyth, Paulding, Hall counties, one price list for all of them.

Atlanta Appliance Techs is a locally owned, owner-run appliance repair company that works with independent, insured technicians across Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Forsyth, Paulding, Hall counties, from Cumming, Gainesville and Woodstock in the north to Southwest Atlanta and Decatur, and from Dallas and Hiram in the west to Braselton and Dacula in the east.

The price is the same everywhere we go: an $80 diagnostic ($120 for double, built-in or combination ovens) that is waived when you approve the repair, flat-rate labor from $180 plus parts, quoted in writing before work starts, and a 60-day parts-and-labor warranty. We repair refrigerators and freezers, washers, gas and electric dryers, dishwashers, gas, electric and induction ovens, cooktops and ranges, garbage disposals and over-the-range or built-in microwaves.

Each area page below has what is specific to that place: the age of the housing, who supplies the water and power, and the ZIP codes we cover.

What we don't cover: counties outside our eight (Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Forsyth, Paulding and Hall), gas lines and piping, commercial and restaurant equipment, and HVAC.

Fulton County

The City of Atlanta, which also reaches into DeKalb County, and the north Fulton cities of Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Milton. Atlanta and Sandy Springs get their water from Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management; north of the Chattahoochee, Fulton County’s own system serves Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton and most of Roswell, and Roswell runs a small system of its own around downtown.

DeKalb County

Decatur, the county seat, plus Brookhaven, Chamblee, Dunwoody and Tucker. DeKalb County treats Chattahoochee River water at its Scott Candler plant for more than 780,000 residents. The in-town Atlanta neighborhoods on the DeKalb side of the city line are on the Atlanta page.

Cobb County

Marietta, Smyrna and Kennesaw. Their water comes from the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority, which treats water from Lake Allatoona and the Chattahoochee River and sells it to the Cobb County Water System, Marietta Water and Smyrna. Marietta also runs its own electric utility, Marietta Power; many homes with a Marietta address are outside the city and on Cobb EMC or Georgia Power.

Gwinnett County

Peachtree Corners, Duluth, Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lawrenceville, Dacula, Grayson and Snellville. Gwinnett County’s water comes from Lake Lanier, and the county publishes its hardness: about 1 to 2 grains per gallon, which is soft. Lawrenceville runs its own electric and natural gas utility.

Cherokee County

Woodstock, with Towne Lake, Eagle Watch and the Holly Springs side of 30188, reached from our Kennesaw office along I-575. Half its homes were built in 2005 or later, so the manufacturer’s warranty is often the first thing to check.

Forsyth County

Cumming, whose three ZIP codes take in most of Forsyth County, from Vickery and the Highway 9 corridor to the Lake Lanier shoreline. Housing here is young, and lake houses and gated communities are a regular part of the job.

Paulding County

Dallas, the county seat, and Hiram, along Highway 278 west of Cobb County. Most homes went up in the 2000s on large lots, so original builder appliances are reaching the age when parts start to fail; add driveway or gate directions when you book.

Hall County

Gainesville, Flowery Branch and Braselton, the northeast edge of our service area along Lake Lanier and I-85. Flowery Branch and Braselton have some of the newest housing we cover; Gainesville mixes a historic downtown with new subdivisions toward the lake. Call first for addresses beyond the ZIP codes listed.
