Partner technician resources
The short version of how working with us runs. The signed agreement is the full version and wins if anything here differs.
Job offers
Offers come through your technician portal (sign in at getcallbook.com/login) and by phone or email. Each offer shows the appliance, the reported problem, the area and the appointment window. Accept or decline each one; declining never affects future offers. There is no minimum number of jobs to take.
Pay
You receive 45% of the labor charged on every job you complete, including the diagnostic fee on diagnostic-only visits, paid weekly. Parts are not part of the split. At our published prices that is $81.00 on a $180 repair and $36.00 on an $80 diagnostic-only visit; larger repairs pay more. Pay goes to the account you gave us at setup, against your invoice or our weekly statement, which you can also see under My pay in your technician portal. If a line on a statement looks wrong, tell us within 3 business days; everything else is paid on the regular payday.
Pricing and payment from customers
Customers book at our published prices, and we collect every payment. Never take payment from a customer for one of our jobs; point them to us instead.
Parts
Buy parts only in Atlanta Appliance Techs’ name: on our supplier accounts, or with our resale certificate when we say so. Never in your own name, so sales tax is not paid twice. Send the itemized receipt with that week’s invoice or statement, and we pay back the actual cost, with no markup, in the same weekly payment. Mark any visit with no parts "labor only, no parts furnished."
Warranty callbacks
If a customer calls back within 60 days about your own workmanship on a job, you correct it at no extra labor pay. A new, unrelated failure is a new job and is paid normally.
Keep your insurance current
Upload the new certificate each time a policy renews, through contractor setup. If a policy is cancelled or lapses, tell us within 3 business days; job offers pause until a current certificate is in.
Change your counties or appliances
Send your new choices through contractor setup (just the preferences, no documents needed), or text us.
Licensed-trade work
If a job turns out to need gas piping or gas line work (anything beyond the appliance's own connector and shutoff), new electrical circuits, plumbing or other work that needs a Georgia state contractor license (electrical, plumbing, conditioned air or low voltage) you do not hold, stop, tell the customer and us, and we refer that part to a licensed contractor. Repairing the gas appliance itself is in scope. If you or the customer smell gas, get everyone out and call 911 or the gas utility from outside before anything else.
Taxes
We do not withhold taxes. You get a Form 1099-NEC for any year we pay you $2,000 or more, and you report all of your income yourself. If your business details change, upload a new W-9 through contractor setup.
Customer information
Use customer names, addresses and history only for the job you accepted, and keep them confidential, during and after our work together.
Ending the agreement
Either side can end it by written notice, as set out in the agreement. Jobs you already accepted are finished or handed back by agreement.
