Who makes Kenmore appliances
Kenmore is a registered trademark of Transform SR Brands, and Kenmore appliances come from other manufacturers. One example: the CPSC names Electrolux Home Products as the maker of the recalled Kenmore Elite smooth-top electric ranges. That is why the model number matters so much for a Kenmore: it identifies the maker and the right part.

Kenmore warranty basics
Kenmore warrants its washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges and dishwashers for one year from the date of sale, and freezers for two years. Past that, repairs are out of pocket, with a written price from us before any work starts.
