The Frigidaire and Kenmore Elite range recall
On May 16, 2024, the CPSC reannounced Electrolux’s recall of about 203,000 Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, Frigidaire Professional and Kenmore Elite smooth-top electric ranges sold from June 2001 through August 2009. The surface elements can turn on by themselves, fail to turn off, or heat to the wrong temperature. The remedy is a free repair, or a $50 gift card plus up to $60 toward haul-away.
