Bosch dishwasher E24 and E15
Bosch’s code list explains its two most-searched dishwasher codes. E24 (and E25) is a drain problem: a blocked drain pump or loose pump cover, a kinked drain hose, or a clogged air gap or hose. E15 means the safety switch has found water in the base and the leak protection system has activated. Bosch’s not-draining guide says food debris in the filter or pump is the usual reason a dishwasher stops draining.

Bosch warranty basics
Most Bosch major appliances carry a one-year limited warranty on the entire appliance, parts and labor. Dishwashers add parts-only coverage for the electronics and racks in years two through five and lifetime parts coverage against rust-through of the tub liner, so check the warranty before paying for a control board on a dishwasher under five years old.

Where to find the Bosch model number
Bosch prints the model number (E-Nr) on the appliance’s rating label, and its online finder shows where the label sits for each appliance type. On a dishwasher, open the door and look along the edge of the door or tub.
